Juztine has been performing, directing, & working at theaters all around California since 1989. Juztine’s directorial projects at OB Playhouse, Green Day’s American Idiot and Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, won the 2019 BroadwayWorld San Diego Awards for Best Musical and Best Play. Ze also directed Reefer Madness, & I Love You Because at OBP and was seen on stage in Hair & I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Favorite directing credits include Hedwig & the Angry Inch at Patio Playhouse; Oak & Linden (which ze co-wrote & conceived with Rachel Nicole Pierce for the SD International Fringe Festival); A Bright Room Called Day & the World Premiere, "56, 69, 96, Now" (Stonewall 24-Hour Play Experience) with Breakthrough Workshop Theatre; and Xanadu Jr., High School Musical Jr. at Camp Jaycee.
On stage & off, Juztine has worked at La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, Cygnet Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, Breakthrough Workshop, Ion Theatre, the Disneyland Resort, & more. Ze has a BA from The University of California, Berkeley, with a double major in Theater & Performance Studies and Gender & Women's Studies.
